CORRIGAN ASSOCIATES, LLC

Providing the Foundation for Successful Meetings

Starting your own business takes determination and the confidence that you can provide a service and knowledge that will add value for your clients.  I have clients that have worked with me for as many as 26 years. The loyalty my company enjoys is extraordinary.  We protect our reputation by providing immediate response, full disclosure, and great service.

We aren't going to sell you anything - our goal is to give our partner planners the information they need about a destination, hotel or convention center to make well informed decisions. We succeed when we make your job easier, your programs successful and make you look good.

Involvement in the hospitality community is important to build relationships. I earned my Certified Meeting Planner -CMP- designation in 1997, was a member of Associated Meeting Professionals - AMPs for 20 years, a member of Meeting Planners International - PMPI for many years and co-manager of the Reston Herndon Meeting Planners for the last 11 years.

With 29 years in the hospitality industry, I worked for 7 years in sales positions with a number of Washington, DC hotels, then moved to national sales as an account manager for Associated Luxury Hotels, before landing a position at the Krisam Group where I worked for 7 years first as a Sales Director and then Vice President of the DC office.  Many years spent traveling extensively, both nationally and internationally, to get to know the more than 200 hotels, resorts and CVB members of these companies, as well as their competitors, was a perfect foundation for the services I can now offer my clients.

I was an independent contractor with HelmsBriscoe from 1999 until forming Corrigan Associates in the spring of 2006.  Corrigan Associates continues to be a trusted solution for busy meeting planners.

My educational history includes a BS in Business Administration from the University of Maryland with a concentration in marketing and contract law, and a BA from the University of Maryland in Fine Arts and Animal Science.
